Our Origin
Maison Marberry started from a frustration, not a vision board. Every "luxury silk" brand online seemed to run the same playbook: countdown timers, a different percentage off every week, and a sticker for every certification whether or not the fabric underneath had actually changed.
We wanted to know what would happen if a silk house just stopped doing that. One weight standard. One price, kept the same whether you buy in January or during a holiday rush. No badge stacked on a product photo to do the convincing the fabric should be doing on its own.
So we built the house that way. We work with mills who can guarantee momme weight on paper, not just in the listing copy, and we cut in small, fixed runs instead of an endless restock queue. It is slower, and it costs more to run this way. We think it is also the only way silk earns the word "luxury" rather than just borrowing it for a sale banner.
Maison Marberry is not trying to be the cheapest silk on the internet. We are trying to be the one you stop comparison shopping against, because the fabric, the fit, and the price all hold steady, season after season.

THE FABRIC
One mill, one weight, no exceptions.
Every Marberry piece is cut from the same 19 to 25 momme mulberry silk, sourced from a single mill we've worked with since the house's first run. We don't blend in a cheaper grade to hit a lower price point on entry items.
If a fabric lot doesn't meet weight on inspection, it doesn't become a Marberry product. That's the whole rule.
THE PRICE
What you see is what stays.
We price each piece once, at launch, accounting for the actual cost of 19 momme-plus silk cut in small batches. There's no inflated "compare at" price sitting next to a permanent markdown.
If you buy in week one or month six, you pay the same number. That's the trade we're asking you to make: no flash sales, but no games either.
THE RUN
Small batches, on purpose.
Each color and weight combination is cut in a fixed run, not an open-ended restock. We'd rather sell out of a dye lot and retire it than keep a color alive past the point the mill can guarantee consistency.
It means some pieces won't come back. That's the cost of actually meaning "limited," instead of using the word as a banner.
THE HOUSE
Built in Paris, worn everywhere.
Maison Marberry is a small team working out of Paris, designing pieces meant to move between the bedroom and the rest of the day, not just sit in a sleepwear drawer.
We're early. The collection is intentionally narrow right now, fewer pieces, done properly, rather than a catalog wide enough to need a sale tab.
Silk, before it was a trend.
No countdowns, no percentage games. Just the fabric, and the time it takes to do it properly.
